In Our Junior Program Children Gain Valuable Social Skills and Life Lessons
In our junior karate program we focus on incorporating karate skills into a holistic approach to self defence and personal development.
Our classes incorporate our fantastic “Mat Chat” program with weekly life lessons. We also teach the children a range of techniques to cope with bullying.
These include being environmentally aware, giving the student verbal tools to deal with bullies, right up to hands on self defence. The results from our Junior program are amazing, with benefits ranging from confidence, to fitness and health, friendship and goal setting.
Once students have reached their blue belt they are able to join our junior leadership team and further develop their confidence and teamwork through public speaking, initiative games and learning how to become an excellent coach.
